New for 2024 - Meet Your Farmer!

This Thanksgiving fresh whole turkeys will be delivered to customers directly from the farm. On Tuesday the 26th, Sunnyside Farm will be here at Bleecker and Greer with your bird. This is an amazing opportunity to connect with the people who raise our food. The Étienne family hails from Linneus, Maine in Aroostook County. They began farming in 2002 and today their operation includes a licensed poultry slaughter facility and extensive U-Pick fruit orchards.

Sunnyside Farm in Linneus (Aroostook County) is now taking orders for whole, fresh turkeys. Sunnyside raises Broad Breasted White & Bronze Turkeys. The average size is 18-20 pounds. Sunnyside will offer a few smaller birds around 14 pounds, and large birds, 25-28 pounds.

Sunnyside turkeys are not given antibiotics or other chemical additives. From their arrival on the farm as poults, they are fed natural rations from the local grain mill, Aroostook Milling Company. And, unlike the turkey you get frozen at the supermarket, Sunnyside turkeys are fresh, never frozen. Any questions or requests you have regarding your turkey should be directed to the number below.

SIZING CHART FOR TURKEYS:

Estimate 1 to 1.25 pounds of fresh turkey (without stuffing) per person if you don't want leftovers, and estimate about 1.5 pounds per person if you do want leftovers.
